HOW DOES ONE TRIM THIS FAT?

You cannot go hungry when you are on this diet. You cannot get rid of something without replacing it with something else. In my case, it is generally an insight that comes to the rescue by feeding me manna. I must not only withdraw from this desire (a choice) but know that whatever is, is God's sweet Will. It is very possible, no, probable, that success destroys. There is a famous Greek saying, to the effect that S/he whom the gods would destroy, get more success than they can handle. We can see the truth of this saying in newspapers daily. It is an affliction that infects movie and rock stars, though it doesn't limit itself to these people. Though this may sound like a rationalization, sour grapes, there is much, much truth in it.
